Rob Lucci in the myth of Pygmalion and Galatea

  Долгожданное продолжение фанарта с Робом Луччи. Театральная постановка представлена на картине. Это гендерная версия греческого мифа о Пигмалионе и Галатее.
   В роли Пигмалиона – автор этого рисунка Дэш Инг Нирро. Ничего страшного, это автор просто вкладывает частичку себя в свою картину. А в роли Галатеи – Роб Луччи. Да ладно, к чему смущение, ведь согласно традициям греческого театра все женские роли в пьесах мог играть мужчина.  
   Сюжет мифа был примерно такой, каким его описал В. М. Макаревич в своей энциклопедии «Мифы»:
 « В далекие времена на острове Кипр жил царь Пигмалион. Жил он одиноко и, чтобы как-то скрасить свое одиночество, сделал из белоснежного мрамора статую прекрасной девушки. Он назвал ее Галатеей. Подобной по красоте статуи не было на свете.
   И полюбил Пигмалион свое творение, он наряжал статую, украшал драгоценностями, укладывал на постель, но не чувствовал теплоты ее тела.  
     И тогда взмолился Пигмалион. Он попросил у богини Афродиты, чтобы она вдохнула жизнь в холодную статую. Богиня исполнила его просьбу и оживила Галатею. Прелестная девушка стала женой царя. У них родилась дочь Пафос. ( Ее именем стал называться город на Кипре, где стоял храм богини Афродиты.) »

 Рисунок выполнен на альбомном листе цветными карандашами и цветными китайскими фломастерами AIHAO. Его автор Дэш Инг Нирро. Фотография рисунка была сделана на фоне красного покрывала и вот потому и кажется, что рамка у картины красная. Рисунок был тогда приколот булавками к покрывалу.

The plot of the myth was about that as it was described by V. M. Makarevich in their encyclopedia "Myths":
"In ancient times on the island of Cyprus was a king Pygmalion. He lived alone and, in order to brighten up the loneliness, made of pure white marble statue of a beautiful girl. He named her Galatea. Like the beauty of the statue did not exist.
And Pygmalion fell in his creation, he dressed the statue, adorned with jewels, tucked into bed, but haven't felt the warmth of her body.
And then pleaded Pygmalion. He asked the goddess Aphrodite, she breathed life into a cold statue. The goddess granted his request and revived the Galatea. Pretty girl became the wife of the king.
